When does Czar launch?

No date yet, and we won't guess.

The core of Czar is built. What's left includes carrier registration for business texting. We'll email the waitlist the day it opens.

What does joining the waitlist cost me?

Nothing, just your email address. We'll email you when Czar opens, and only about Czar. You decide then.

Do I need a computer?

No. Czar runs on your phone.

  • Getting it: open it in your phone's browser, iPhone or Android, and save it to your home screen. It opens like an app, with no App Store download.
  • On a computer: it works there too. Switch the tour to Computer to see it.
I'm not a tech person. Will I be able to use it?

If you can send a text, you can run Czar. No training to sit through.

Can I bring my existing customer list?

Yes.

  • Spreadsheet or another app: save or export it as a CSV file and upload it. Czar lines up the columns, shows a preview, and skips anyone already in there.
  • Paper book or phone contacts: type them in once.
How does texting my customers work?

Two ways.

Both plans

You send it. Czar writes the text and you send it from your own phone, so replies come straight back to you.

Pro

It can send itself. Czar texts for you automatically, under your business's name, and only to customers who've agreed to it. Anyone can stop them by replying STOP.

Automatic texts need carrier registration first, and that needs your business's own website. On Pro, we file it and pay the registration fees.

Do I need a website?
  • Core: no. Your texts go from your own phone.
  • Pro: yes, your business's own website. It's the first thing the phone companies check before they approve automatic texts.

Already have one? We look it over before we file. If it's missing something, like a privacy policy, SMS terms or the boxes where customers agree to texts, we tell you exactly what to add and give you the wording.

No website? We can build one under your business's name, with what the phone companies look for already on it. That's a separate paid service. An Instagram page, a Google Business Profile or a page on Czar doesn't count as your website.

What if it isn't for me?

Full refund within 30 days of your first payment, if you ask. That's a month of real jobs to decide whether Czar earns its place.

What happens to my customers if I cancel?

They're yours. Export your full customer list and history anytime, stay or go. We don't sell your data or your customers'.
